Friends Reruns Are Still Making The Cast Some Serious Cash, Thanks To David Schwimmer

The sitcom Friends was a phenomenal success by anyone’s standards. Its six main cast members – Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer – ended up being household names by the show’s end. And they also ended up with bucket loads of money. However, the cast easily could have been stiffed out of their hard-earned funds if it weren't for one clever maneuver on the part of David Schwimmer. The entire cast has only him to thank for their fortunes.

The richest 'Friend'

All the main cast are living the high life now thanks to Friends. Though as you might have guessed due to her incredible popularity, Aniston is the richest of all. The star’s post-Friends career was stratospheric, and she’s worth at least $300 million now, according to Cosmopolitan. Of course, some of that comes from advertisements and movies she’s produced.

Living the high life

Rachel on the show struggled with money sometimes, but that’s been no such problem for the actress who played her. These days Aniston lives in a huge mansion overlooking Beverly Hills and it features – among other things – a large koi fish pond, a marble bathtub and an outdoor swimming pool.

Perry and Cox did well too

Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry – who played the eventually married couple Monica and Chandler – didn’t do too badly for themselves, either. The former has made millions with advertising work and her show Cougar Town, while Perry brought home the bacon via Hollywood real estate deals.

She lets celebs stay in her guest houses

Cox spent some of her money on a beachside mansion in Malibu, and it’s pretty incredible. The property has tennis courts, a swimming pool and a whole bunch of guest cottages. In fact, it’s so nice other superstars go and hang out there. Ed Sheeran once told the media he lived there rent-free for a bit in 2013!
